Contracts!

Now that silly season is over i would like to club to concentrate on new contracts for players many of our best players could do with a renewal and in light of Heitingas reported deal possibly a bump in wages, I wasnt really bothered about this summer - next summer for me is a defineing with some players whos contracts are whitleing down who would be massive losses, im talking:

The Yak
Cahill
Arteta
Baines
Saha

* Pienaar is after improved terms to.

* Most have time after this year but is never good having players in the final year of their contratcs in the squad.

Would ease my mind getting these sorted.

Isnt Pienaar in the last year of his contract and can talk to other Clubs in January?

totally agree

i think the higher level of wages offered to any of these players will be countered by the sale of moyes so called 'dead wood' and the nurturing of young talent as replacements.

Mind you didn't Lescott recently sign a new contract...Contracts don't mean that much IMO.

Wouldnt be til the following January, which is worrying enough like.

Getting him signed up should be a priority soon.
