Bosman is under 24, he'd be 1 month to 25 by the time his contract is over, so I have no idea what would happen either.

Jean Bosman was 25 when he had this law introduced in a European court.

I believe you have this backwards.

Anyone at the end of their contract is free to leave under the bosman ruling

BUT

If the player came through your ranks and is a youth player you can receive compensation for training and developing them if they choose not to resign. Not sure what age that applies til.

I though that applies to 24 or 25?

Yes its simple.

Up to 24 the buying club play the parent club compensation.

Over 24 no compensation.

Maybe because .... If we didn't offer him one then he could leave and we'd get nothing. But if we offer and he declined and leaves... Then we are due some sort of fee. Turns out he kept signing tho.... Everton as French connection United Kingdom .... Remember when we forgot to offer gosling a contract and he went to Newcastle for nothing?

Get well more than £1k for playing League 1 and well more than £300 playing for Tranmere.

You dont pal, Tranmere pay between £300-£550/£600 per week a player on wages if that. And when they were in league 1 they were not paying more than 1k a week on wages
Pretty large drop off from 5k a week

They pay more than that to their top players.
