moores always got simon templar to fall back on. i knew him as the saint.
not as cool as bond but then he's not as cool as connery.

i know which one of them i'd rather be when i'm older. connery could get more offers in a night than we could get collectively in a year.

connery is the bond all other bonds are compared to - & found wanting.

i liked moore in the saint & the persuaders, but after the first 2 bond films he made i felt they should have then looked for somebody younger to take over. perhaps he was just too old when he was given the job. taking all his bond films into account, moore is my least favourite bond.

moore was the one in the new films when i was a kid but connery was the one on tv. when they changed again i lost interest really and still haven't seen any of the newer ones.

I don't think I've been able to sit through a full Bond film that didn't feature either Connery or Moore. The other guys just don't do it for me. I think the stories haven't been that good either. Plus, the new Bond birds tend to be the model types, which I don't really go for. I liked the old Bond girls, the ones that had little tummies and chubby thighs. There was something you could grab hold of :blush:
