Possibly, but while investors do look for short term success, they also look for long term stability, and Mourinho is hardly renowned for his loyalty.

Mourinho manager with fergie director ..... Can't see it

Scary thing for me is that Moyes will know the exact price we are willing to let Fellaini and Baines go for.
Not arsed about selling Fellaini, Baines might take this as this summer as a chance to move on now that Moyes had gone. We could lose two of these summer with Moyes. Baines could do a job for man u but do they need fellaini?

However you feel about Moyes, you can't believe Everton are better off without him. Our position will be the same or worse. The aspects of football that are holding us back have nothing to do with the manager.

Been a top manager for us, saved us from relegation and took us to the top end of the league with some brilliant signings with not a lot of money, Cheers moyes lad.

We have a good squad and although we have money issues our club could be a good stepping stone for foreign managers to get them selves into the premier league . This board needs to buck there ideas up and not just pick some ****e . Unlike a player who can be sold if we dont pick a good manager it will cost us just look at the ****e and wolves with the amount lf changes . No excuses we have time on our side . Off to you bill

If true,a massive risk by Man Utd. I think this may end in tears for David Moyes.
Regardless,I wish him well,he certainly did a very good job at Everton and I look forward to seeing Utd playing a defensive formation at home to Hull with RVP and Rooney on the bench.
