Don't think this chap had been mentioned yet but I truly believed that...

Ibrahim Bakayoko was literally the Second Coming.

And I was incredibly excited by the signing of John Collins.

Olivier Dacourt was my favourite player and I still stand by that. For some reason.

Naismith - under Moyes i slated him, used to say I can see why we got him for nothing

Under Martinez he started to look a far better player, and became a favourite of mine, I used to refer to him as the Nace.

I met him at the Hilton on one of these POM events, had a chat with him and seemed a real nice fella...all the time talking to him I thought he knows I have slated him in the past, don't ask me how

Dixie Dean. I thought he was gash. He proved me wrong

Jesus mate, I didn't believe you until I checked the vaults. You are forgiven.

Everton only please.
I don't flush when I urinate in Everton only bahtrooms. Better?

On the serious note - I tend not to give my opinions on players just not to look like a complete f(w)ool afterwards, but I thought keeping Tim Howard would be a really decent idea after his World Cup performances. Oh how wrong was I...

When we signed Lee Carsley (i think it was a Smith signing) I honestly thought it was the end of days.

Nobody will prove me as wrong as he did in the mid 00s.

I also came back from Goodison after watching us beat Leeds 4-0 and proudly told my mate that in James McFadden we had found the new George Best.
