My computer is quite abit messed up, crappy advertismenets and all this 'click here to get rid of adult content sites', 'you have 100+ viruses' all that crap really but its not from the net, its in the actual computer, it changes my wallpaper to these messages when it feels like.

Does anyone have any good recommended anti-virus and spyware websites they can help us out with?

Spybot S&D is useful as well. Make sure you get Spybot S&D though, not Spywarebot which is spyware itself.

just installed the spygate firewall i think it was, the one danny recommended in his thread, got to just re-start this then it will be at home with my other 100+ security things i went overload on lol.

Not from graphics sites lol dont really go on them, best ones finished, not a big enough audience for them to stay around long, it was limewire i think which did me in.

Make sure you only have the one anti virus though.

I can not stress enough that Comodo make the best firewall out there. It is legal and it is free for home use. It has won so many PC magazine firewall 'shoot-outs' it should have it's own 'I-love-me' wall.

Nothing is more secure.
