Just received an email notifying me that my Bookmarks syncing App on Google Chrome "XMarks" will be shutting down from May 1.

"Xmarks update

On May 1, 2018, we will be shutting down Xmarks. Your account will remain active until then, including the syncing of your bookmarks. After that date, your bookmarks should remain in any previously accessed browser, but they will no longer sync and your account will be deactivated."

Can anyone recommend a worthy alternative to XMarks I can use to bookmark and sync?

My Google account logged into my PC and my phone syncs everything.

And of course then shares my information with the Russians.
So it just automatically just syncs when logged into your google account? I see.
Let me try that out. ;)

If you just use the same browser on every platform I don't really see the problem. Firefox etc; have sync utilities included that work across platform. Or do you want to sync between different browsers etc?

I mainly just use Chrome, but do on occasions like to use others that I have synced between.
For just chrome, stick with Google Sync as advised above?

Seems like the easiest solution if you don't use other browsers/platforms a lot.

Alternatively you can use something like Eversync. Free until a certain point. Or Linkman, but you'll have to pay once for that. Not a lot though.

Thanks mate ;)

I rarely use bookmarks. Too much faff to remember where they are and call them up. Just duck duck go the site you want to see.

If you don't remember the site, it ain't worth looking at.
