I went for the when grouped but solo isn't worth my time. Grouped I just pass leader and grab recons I see so we can rez when needed.

Solos I tended to farm tons of cash, get tons of weapons, then get snipered from nowhere on my way to a good area. Can be well frustrating.

I think the game mode would be more fun if loadoat drops weren't a thing.

Yeah I don't get the unearned freebie load out crates, make people feel like they worked a bit ffs. Not "ooh I hid in a cupboard and now I have my full set by walking 150yds"

I think it's weird bombing around at the start for items and random stopping power etc. to then throw it all away at a loadout box.

Just have people play the game, scavenge stuff from crates or people they've downed. None of the C4, none of the heartbeat censors, just hope you find good items and be good at the game. Be miles better.

Just survived my first wolf attack on The Long Dark. It saw me from a mile off and I tried to shoot it but missed and I got properly savaged and so made a fire to site next to whilst I healed. Then I accidentally stood in the fire and gave myself severe burns. This game is tough as nails.

It can be quite unforgiving.......especially early days.
