Computer games.

I really didn't like red dead redemption.
Not the biggest GTA fan, either though I liked GTA5.

Same here.

Think Rockstar games are the most overrated games going. They're clearly not bad of course but as someone who loves open world games, I just find them dull and the gameplay tedious. Sleeping Dogs, Infamous and Prototype are much more fun open world games imo.

I kinda agree. After san andreas and vice city, none of the GTA games have really gripped me the same way as they do others. Even to GTA 4 and 5, i much prefer Saints row 3+4 as being fun silly games with loads to do in terms of side quests and mini games.

GTA 5 is an excellent made game i can't deny that, but it swaps engaging worlds with just big ones that have been detialed. Somewhere along the lines the fun factor was been dropped.

On the games you mentioned, not a big fan of infamous, but Prototype gave me one of my favourite gaming moments. The last boss, letting him strip my health down to a fragment so i can hit my power move and doing it all as the clock ticked 0 as well, just seeing the white game over flash before the cutscene kicked in to end the game was brilliant feeling

Nope. Boring and repetitive

Maybe I just play too many games. Rockstar games are alongside CoD, Battlefield and Fifa as the big games popular with people who don't play that many games. Half the people with a PlayStation probably just play those titles.

I think I've played too much stuff to be impressed by GTA. Vice City and San andreas back in the day were ace though.

I had a go on the PS VR the other day. Absolutely stunning, I won't be purchasing until the 2nd generation of it but my God it is the future. As people have mentioned it suits flight sim's and driving games best but the batman game was very interesting despite standing on the spot. Maybe you would get bored after a while but it's definitely got me wanting to go back to it.

Can see lots of damage to people's homes though, way more than people had with the wii...

And for pc is even more stunning. Vive and rift. :) for me I see too much of the pixels still, but the next generation I think will be good enough. Just need a little better lenses.

I think it's more like that people like different things mate. You don't have to like anything. And really, can't help what you like and what you don't like.

I play a lot of games. Probably more than you would think considering how long we've known each other on here and love pretty much all the Rockstar games.
