Computer games.

A mate of mine got his copy of MGS5 a few days early due to a postal mix up.

So, so jealous.

I bought a ps4 and mgs5 today. I didn't want a ps4 until it was worth it. I had a [Poor language removed] lot to do so I'm only getting miller now. I think so far this is amazing ground zeros did not do it no justice It might be premature but this is making part 4 not look so good and I have never looked back on a metal gear like that when playing a new one. Thoughts?

Purely from a gameplay perspective it's utterly amazing. So much choice in how to go about missions or even just in free roam. Can't comment too much on the story as of yet, though.

Because Konami made Kojima work in the cafe (allegedly), then fired him. Or he quit.

But the jist is Konami treated him badly and people are boycotting them. TBH nobody boycotted them when they were treating their other employees like crap. Just Kojima.

The Kojima thing is just one part of it

I'm boycotting them for their mistreatment of all their employees, their bullying of certain journalists, their desire to crush any criticism by putting fatuous copyright claims on YouTube videos, for their lack of transparency, for their total lack of respect for their name franchises by turning them into crap pachinko machines and mobile games and just for being an all-around disgusting and arrogant enterprise

I just don't want to give them any of my money

And the reason most are only boycotting now is because most of this only came to light a couple of months ago. A few of us were already there, but I'm glad the news about Kojima tipped some over the edge. Fact is, that's what opened the door for more of this to be reported. Some jumped on board when they were spiteful enough to take PT down, when they didn't need to other than to stick it to people who liked it

I've been anti Konami ever since they blackballed Jim Sterling for daring to be critical of them

That's fair enough I guess. I had read about the reviewers of MGSV being monitered in a hotel whilst they play it... all seems a bit sketchy.

Shame because MGSV is incredible.
