Computer games.

You can pay real life money in game to get a leg up.

So like Farmville or Clash of Clans etc.

Except instead of being a free to play game, you're paying £50 in the first place.

Awesome. I can understand if the game is F2P, but full price and whack on micro-transactions........that is crap.

Seen more and more these days to be honest, which is really sad.

It was in Assassin's Creed: Unity. Which was also incredibly gash.

I'm sure MGS5 will be a good game, but I'll wait until it's around £15 used before picking it up, as I'm not supporting microtransactions in AAA games. Or Konami after what they did to Silent Hills for that matter.

I hate that in games, even more so if it's something only obtainable by a microtransaction. I'd rather grind something out than pay for it, but it's stupid when it's an incredibly good/vital item and you have to pay £5 to get it. FFS.

Wasn't Silent Hills that P.T. thing with Del Toro and stuff? Heard it's cancelled the other day on some stream or something, that true? If so - FFS!

I'd say that's because of the suits upstairs at Konami. Kojima probably fought and lost over that.

Yeah Konami have gone full idiot recently and fell out with Kojima and decided to not make games anymore. Craziness.

I'm a big MGS fan so I'll be getting it right away. Just hoping the micro-transaction stuff is purely cosmetic or to speed up unlocking processes rather than pay to win like they were with the MGO DLC in MGS4.

OH FFS!

I was looking forward to that game as well :(

Wonder what you can actually have as a microtranscation in a horror game though, if that's the reason Kojima left, as @Jaytality said...

It's still going to be one of the best games ever made. Kojima made it before Konami and him fell out word is its his ultimate masterpiece. No one yet knows the exact reasons but it has come out that working conditions at Konami are atrocious big brother style. Big game developers get punished and do end up serving lunch in cafeteria or doing janitor work. But it's still a mystery about exactly what happened. They took Kojima name of the latest trailer and apparently it's meant to be of the cover.

Well, it's still cancelled, isn't it?
