The lack of actual real games out at the moment is making me cry.

Lol as if. There's tons, depends what you want/like.

The MOBA scene is crap cuz it's all "LoL clones", but there's Dota2 that's quite different. Smite is a 3rd person MOBA and it's great, and that's just some stand out ones.

Getting a new PC this week, ESO just seemed like an Aion clone, dont wanna play an Aion clone and besides all my mates quit after a day.

Nothing like Aion mate. More like Skyrim, with more skills, or Guild Wars 2 with faster paced action.

I was excited about it, until I saw their servers go down for days at a time and despite looking shiny plays and runs very, very badly.

ArchAge, thats what I meant was an Aion clone, not ESO, I havent played ESO, FFS, I got them mixed up.

Yeah it aint a bad game, just very similar to Aion and ive been there done dat.

You mostly play MMO/MOBAs though, so linking SoF means nothing. There's a million and one shooters out there, some are definitely better than SoF as well.

No brah, my roots are FPS games, Cod4 was the last decent 1, the BF series are terrible and God knows what Cod is doing.

The main issue is that Console is king, with regards games, people enjoy the pick up and play aspect.

Aion was my first MMO, loved that game so much at the start, but it just turned to utter dogcrap.

My first too, and same feelings. The rich got richer, and grinder got rewarded, a very very intense MMO, aimed at Koreans in internet cafes.

A'ight. I'm not one for MMO's these days as EQ was the pinnacle. Just read about that one in GameInformer.

CSGO, but the skill ceiling/requirements to play at a higher levels are insane, you have to pretty much micromanage everything, all the time.

But if you play casual games/lower ranked games it's pretty fun to play, especially with a few mates.

Or at least that's what I'm currently playing and I like, seeing as I'm also a FPS gamer.
