Did you have research that or did you know SCFC play at Edgeley?

I actually live about a 20 minute bus ride from Edgeley. I live further towards Manc in South Reddish

Mate i'm like a bloody encyclopedia with football grounds. They just stick in my head.

And i've been there. Saw Town win 1-0. My dad had some weird alien creature floating in his half time cuppa. And that's my lasting memory of Stockport.

The away end at Stockport County is awful. No roof and the tea and coffee facilities are poor at best

The Cheadle End (The one opposite teh away end) is much nicer and you can get a decent cup of Bovril, if you're that way inclined

The Vernon End is unpleasant with pokey seats and you can't get any beer there either

Main Stand is reasonable and full of grumpy old men, as Main Stands are usually filled with.

Hahaha! <YES>

It was ages ago but I remember thinking it was an alright ground for a team like Stockport.

It's probably the nicest one in the Conference North (Which isn't saying much I know)

I think you can cram about 10 Thousand in there at best

You should probably go soon if you ever want to see it again as I imagine it will be torn down in the next few years

The club is literally at Deaths Door and there's been talk of turning the land into housing or a retail park
