How badly is the controller broken? Some duct tape could sort it providing the circuit inside isnt broken.

It looks good but the way it is played is very different too the rest of the series. And I love Gears games.

Yeh i got it last Friday when it came it.
I like it, really like it. Still think Gears 1 is the best they've made though.

Pretty impressive that mate tbh. Xbox controllers are quite robust, I've thrown mine plenty and never broke one but you've ****ing obliterated it.

The circuit isn't broken but I'm completely missing the D-pad and the left stick haha. At least the "back" button is still in tact.

The left stick should just click back into place, give it a try, you cant make it worse!!! Your D-pad is done for though, no more tactics for you! Like Eric said they are quite robust things so hopefully you'll be able to fix it.

Im a bit of a saddo and Ive changed the covers on my controllers to camo ones.....

I actually use the D-pad for movement on FIFA as I'm a weirdo who's still stuck on Pro Evo PS2 controls, but I may have to adapt.

I ripped off one of the vibration thingys too so this is going to be in the bin soon!

When the first large screen tvs were starting to come in, I had a mate who had one of those big cabinet style rear projection ones.

He got beat by one of our other mates on one of the early Pro Evo games and launched his pad. They were still on a cable at this point and that pulled it right towards the screen which ended up having a horrible crack and dark patch on it. His missus was proper fuming like. I can't remember how much it cost, but big ass tv's weren't cheap in 02/03 kind of time.

Just buy a new controller anyway and have this as temporary fix mate
