Yeah still trying to get my head round that MGS trailer as a massive fan of the series. Set Just after peace walker. Very very excited for it.

Watched younger cousin play Bulletstorm for about an hour, looked awful.

Really fun to play, very 'arcadey' though.
Played through the main campaign and it was a good blast.
Added a few cool new ideas, and it was an original IP, which is very rare to see these days.
We mainly only see sequels along with a couple of prequels coming out, lat year and the year before was one of the worst for that reason.

It looks good but the way it is played is very different too the rest of the series. And I love Gears games.

I'm going to be controversial here and say that I played the first Gears of War back in the day and didn't like it. I've not played any of the others as a result.

Am I missing out? Did the series get better?

I agree mate, just didn't "get it", pretty much all my other mates were hooked though

I can see why people wouldn't like it. For me it is something completely different too anything out there.

It's a beautiful game, the setting I find. And I am good at it. That does help.

Have to say that Rockstar are probably the best in the business at making games, consistently as well.

GTA IV is truly magnificent, played countless hours online messing around, but haven't done too much on the campaign. Need to get on that before the next one comes out.
Red Dead was just unreal.
L.A Noire is one of my all time favorite games, because I'm obsessed with that era.
Max Payne 3 is one of the best games to come out in a couple of years, so much fun to play.
They're all so well polished as well.

I remember Halo multiplayer being quite fun. You could do a co-op campaign as well that I enjoyed. Wouldn't want to play it on my own though

I picked up Brutal Legend for £3 the other day.

Really rather enjoying it. It's quite funny, and i'm a big Jack Black fan.

For £3 I can't really argue.
