Computer games.


I got the new Gears game and The Walking Dead on Wednesday.

The Walking Dead is quite fun for what it is. A cash in on the show's popularity, the graphics are horrible, but anyone who enjoys the series will most likely enjoy this.

The new Gears has absolutely destroyed my love for the series. Everything about the multiplayer is awful. Unbalanced weapons, stupidly large maps and massive inconsistencies. Really disappointing because I absolutely love the series, but this just isn't Gears.

TWD series got rave reviews on the likes of Metacritic. It's a 6 part series isn't it?

Is Gears of War 3 much different to 2? I enjoyed the first two but never got round to getting the third one. I loved horde mode.
 
Heard some info on the new Call of Duty, from what I've heard it sounds pretty good but I'm sure they'll mess it up like they have consistently since World at War.

It's called Call of Duty Ghosts, official announcement around May 1st.

Some movement element have been revised/changed/added, ones added are like a run to slide while shooting and while prone you can roll left or right instead of crawling or standing to get into cover.

The game is set in the future but uses current time weaponry. May be a campaign thing like a huge war stopped production of weapons or some sort of apocalyptic thing, nothing has been said of the reason for that.

Will be on next gen consoles.

Loading screens into multiplayer maps are dynamic, instead of sitting through a countdown you can rapel from a chopper or sneak through a place and go into the map and start the game.
