Computer games.

Rented Black Ops II last night. Made up there's no issues as far as lag compensation goes. Made it to level 15 and got used to a few maps by this afternoon. Might buy it with my xmas cash.

Oh not being funny, rented it this last weekend and had no problems. Actually made it to my usual mediocre self by level 15 and had my 10ish and 5ish record consistently.

Rented one of the recent ones(MW3 i think) a little while after it came out and did nothing but die as what I was seeing and what everyone else was seeing was off by a good few seconds.

I rented hitman, FIFA and call of duty, ill only be asking Santa for FIFA this year, hitman was alright, cod was more turgid linear puke.

Right chaps, just wondering if anyone can help me out?

I've got myself a fair bit of free time over Christmas so I thought I'd go out and buy myself a new game. I'm a little bored of FIFA now, and cannot bring myself to play any first person shooter ever again (except for the odd online bash of MW3).

I'm looking for some kind of 3rd person action/adventure game. I haven't kept up with game releases for a while now as I hardly buy games any more apart from FIFA and up until this year COD so I'm not too sure what's the best out there.

I love all the GTA's, Red Dead, Saints Row 2 was quite good but the 3rd one looks like it might be a bit weird...... that sort of thing, I quite liked the old Max Payne games too but I'm thinking I want something that's got a bit more to it than that kind of game.

I considered the Batman Arkham games but I don't know if they're quite my cup of tea. I'm not really in to fantasy kind games like Fable and Skyrim either. Sleeping Dogs looks decent but the reviews aren't amazing. I saw the new Hitman in Tesco for £20 but it was sold out ffs, otherwise I probably would have just got that. In truth the Uncharted games/The Last Of Us looks right up my street but I'm on Xbox ffs!!!!!!!!!

Any help appreciated!

Get both Batman games mate, thank me later. They're not usually my cup of tea but a mate in work raved about them for ages. Glad he did now as they're just excellent.

I've seriously considered getting one of them, it's not usually my cup of tea either but then again I quite liked the Spiderman games. They're cheap as in my local Blockbuster too so I may do just that.

I've heard the second one is a fair bit better than the first? Is it worth going straight to the second one or would you recommend playing them in order?
