Computer games.

So I ended up buying 'Ghost Recon: Breakpoint' as I've heard the latest patch has overhauled things and it's also on offer at the moment for around £16

I'm conflicted to be honest. I LOVED Wildlands, and in some ways, with the new options removing the tiered loot and a lot of the ridiculous microtransaction nonsense, it feels like more of the same.

The controls are horribly clunky though, and the camera parks itself far too close to the player character so he takes up half the screen. Even bumping up the FOV options, it still didn't look right. Disappointing considering how good the Division 2 is in these areas, by the same dev no less.

The AI is horribly inconsistent and the new drone enemies, while adding more danger to the various scenarios, end up being incredibly annoying after a while.

On the plus point, the open world is fun and varied enough to enjoy exploring (Even though I prefer Wildlands' Bolivia), the light survival mechanics add an interesting element to the game play and ther new options scheme added with 'Immersion Mode' lets you taylor all these settings for yourself (Including removing the lite survival stuff)

Still a ton of character and weapon customisation options, I'm an absolute tart for outfitting my character like a kid with an action man
And it looks great as well!

Still disappointing compared to the previous entry - but I'll probably stick with it as it's one of those games that are great for jumping in and out of to kill some time.
I love the online play of Ghost games, much better than COD/Battlefield, online it's pretty much like Wildlands with a few tweaks which is no bad thing.

Got Shadow of Tomb Raider for £10 delivered yesterday, easy way to waste 4 hrs are Tomb raider games, got good reviews this one not played one for about 5 years.

Anyone played fallout 4?

This is a silly question because I have googled it but don't trust the answer.

Is there a level cap in fallout 4 or can you keep levelling up?

It seems there isn't but I'm making decisions right now that run me down a corridor at the minute . I don't want to pay for the dlc neither

The End mission is one of my most frustrating gaming experiences ever.

Can’t remember much else of the game, but I remember being up till about 5am every night for what seemed like the duration of my school holidays one year trying to get past that level.

I really don't get why so many people like that boss battle so much

I found it to be torturous

Thankfully there are a couple of ways you can skip it. The easiest one is to save the game and then put your system clock forward 7 days. If you do that when you load it back up a cut scene will play where The End has died of old age and you don't have to fight him!

Far Cry 3 is the best of them, just for the villain really.

Everything after Far Cry 3 is basically the same game over and over again with different graphics.
I could play far cry 3 over and over again. It’s the first one of the series I played and it’s the best by far played them all since except the primal and new dawn ones

I remember reading that after trying to find out how to beat him online. I didn’t think it would actually work.
I ended up slogging it out until I beat him.

I discovered it by accident

I saved the game at the boss fight but then my PS2 stopped working, so by the time I was finally able to start playing again the time had elapsed naturally

I felt a mixture of relief and guilt

Stupidly I forgot to get the sniper rifle this time too, so I basically had to run around the stage shooting him with an AK47. It was an ordeal

I had my character into the high 90's with no cap. At that point the perks were pretty much irrelevant as I was one shotting Super Mutant bosses and the like.

Ahh good to know.

I won't be playing that long unless the dlc goes on sale.

I'm playing as a furious power fist / heavy gun style to make things a little harder and I was getting like the sun perks and radiation ones for now. I was concerned I was going to hit 50 with a half built character !
