Computer games.

The scale of it is obscene. This is the level of deepness I expected gaming to be at by 2017.

Feels like gamings remained static for several years and this is the first game which looks like it's in another level to anything made before in terms of ambition and pushing today's hardware to the limits.

Still got a ways to go before they deliver what they have promised. Although, if they do deliver.........

Of course but if you watch all the Dev vids the stuff they've promised is actually being developed.

The huge 3.0 update with the planet landings, cargo system, mission system etc is due within next month or so.

Still not expecting the final thing for a couple or so years though but that's fine given the scope of what they're doing.

Again, if/when that happens, 3.0 has been delayed yet again, and some of the major features in 3.0 are actually items that have been repeatedly delayed.

Being a cheapskate I'm waiting on a cash converters one to come into store haha said he would do it for 200 and would go through the specs with me when they have it so hoping it's a nice surprise that.

Alternatively it will be back to the 350 one and saving. Can't wait to play bro force again and a football manager game for the first time in like 17 years.

Actually what is the best manager game out there for a simple game, I know the fm has streamline mode but I want simple
when you buy FM on steam you also get FM touch, which is basically FM classic. I'd check cdkeys and g2a before buying on steam as you can get them a lot cheaper sometimes

Still need to learn these things so cheers mate, will do.

Just struggling at the mo to raise the cash for the computer. Thought selling a load of Xbox games and a hard drive would be snapped up but no takers still ffs

I have to admit, No Man's Citizen looks great.

What difference would the 1050 and the 1050ti make?

For modern gaming I mean, for games out now and potentially games coming out over the next year.

The ti will cost 50 more, is it worth it? I could put a bit extra to a bigger hard drive in the 1050 instead?

Memory.

The 1050 Ti has 4GB and the 1050 has 2GB. This matters more with modern games now using more and more memory for the textures.

The 1050 Ti will be able to handle future games much better due to this increased memory. It also has a gpu and memory clock speed advantage (to the tune of 5%) but when coupled with the increased memory it turns into an overall 25-30% improvement in the benchmarks.

It is up to you, but one thing you should deffo have in your build is an SSD to at least load your OS from. This is probably the single biggest thing you can do to see a performance metric that you can actually tell the difference, rather than looking at a FRAPS counter reading 76 instead of 71 (frames per second......) With the SSD, having the computer boot in 7 seconds vs 30 seconds......loading a game and it popping up in seconds vs a minute.....huge QOL improvement. In fact, read the PC hardware magazines, all of the builds....even the ultra-budget builds all include a SSD just for this reason.

Seemingly the prices have gone up sadly for the ti looking at the website. May well be a waiting game for the prices to come back down again for me which has been suggested to me in here.

If this makes any sense and if it copies over well enough, what is this like for a 350 pound pc to play games on?

That is just the graphics card specs. Typically, between vendors there will be a variance in clock speeds and the cooler type. The likes of EVGA/MSI/Gigabyte will use their super mega coolers which allows them to get a bit more speed out of the card.

It's an absolute minefield @Kenshin this time last year I didn't know the difference between an RX480 and a GTX480. I went then and researched it and built my own PC from scratch ordered the parts off amazon so when I want to upgrade I can do it myself. On a budget though the second hand market has some real value. What sites in the UK do people use to sell used electronics?. I can have a look if you'd like, see whats about in your area.

When I built mine I got a load of stuff off the overclockers.co.uk forums, but back then you had to know someone on there to be able to trade with ppl...
