About fifteen years ago, I had to do the same journey and also had the opportunity to go to the very edge of the roof: it's a great view but a bit nerve-racking.

Can see why Motty gave up commentating. Where do the #efclive blokes do their commentary from? You can always hear the same crowd in the background. I always thought they were in the stands.

Used to be the press box area in the Main Stand under Martinez but think they may have been moved.

I think from what they have mentioned on the commentary (esp Snodin) in some matches about the journey that they are in the same place - going over the roof and climbing ladders.

Probably. I just remember when we were quite literally the best team since sliced bread they'd upload the commentary highlights to Twitter and 90% of the time they'd end up singing with the crowd - mentioning they were in the Main Stand.

Yeah, I should have made that clearer. I meant I'm pretty sure that they were in the main stand.
