Do people still say that?

I've never ever referred to Everton as the Toffee men, it's all been Blues, and Blue boys.

Lad I work with, bad Manc and a bit of a tool, he just text me and said Come On You Toffees, feel like I need to get one of those rattle things.

Funny, on Thursday night after playing football, my team mate who's an Irish Man U fanatic was singing "Come On You Toffees" in the shower.

I know it our traditional nickname, but I personally have always found the toffees nickname demeaning and far too easy for journalistic hacks to pin jokey headlines to i.e toffees come unstuck, sticky situation for toffees and toffees stuck to the bottom of the league etc...etc.
I prefer the blues - even though Chelski think they have naming rights on it.

Search back through the archives. I have said it many a time. i am not a blue boy(too many blues) I am a Toffeeman, always have been, always will be.

Toffee through and through, Toffee through the good times, and the sticky. I am always sweet for my toffees.

Passion does not play to the media my good mate.
