Jeez, as DSOB on Bluemoon, I got loads of stick, but I just gave it back with a little wit and grace most of the time. Sadly I have seen minorities of our away support singing Munich chants myself, but I (and the vast majority of Liverpool fans) are disgusted by it. If you don't believe me you can check out a certain thread on rawk in which the general consensus is on a par with my comments.

It only takes one idiot to make a banner by the way, not thousands.

don't try to offer denials to events that were before your time, you can deny all you like lad but i have stood on the hill of pish when it has been in full cry, it was a weekly event for them to sing "who's that dying on the runway" "stab him with a stanley" "u-n-i-t-e-d brian robsons got v.d." and many others, i was also at the game when they gassed the ushited team bus.
the whole stadium used to sing the songs so try facing up to some guilt once in a while, i suppose you think the juve fans were disrespectful for turning their backs on you all with fingers raised in response to your "amiche" campaign.

we used to sing them as well, but then i'm not in denial of the facts and truth.

MUNICH! is an example....the one doing the rounds on youtube and elsewhere...until they pulled it to hide their murkyness...y'know, the one sung by supporters group Spirit of Shankly...."socialists" they portray themselves as...National Socialists I think.

as i remember a kid at junior school in the 70's was the first i heard singing it.
i know Bolton sing it still, as well as others, and city fans were calling phil nev a munich barstard last season.
it is a lot more widespread than people realise, maybe the shabs would stop if they realised that they aren't doing anything that hasnt been done before by the likes of Bolton etc.
i remember after hillsbrough, the chant used to get shouted down as soon as it started but i reckon nobody would say anything these days.

ushoited fans did used to sing a shankly one, but it was the same tune so was obviously in retaliation.

i'm amazed that you all let the dirtballs forget the fact that you were banned from europe due to their actions, if it werent for them then there could be euro honours on a few clubs records, we seemed to lose out most cos it was 2 euro cup campaigns, but there were 3 comps then with about 7 english places, so it affected more than just us.
what did we get as compensation from the f.a. ? the screensport supercup, which they let the shoite compete in, such a success that they played the final the following season then scrapped it.
