Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
Yesterday at Wembley you sang, you're not one for it normally but yesterday you threw away your inhibitions, like going naked in public.

you sang and you enjoyed it. come on, admit it, it felt great didnt it ?

although "hi-ho silver lining" isn't one of our usuals, only surpassed by my mate blasting "i guess thats why they call it the blues" all the way through the traffic on the way home. we were in front of a manc coach going back to the motorway and they were going barmy as we were all out of the windows, serenading them etc etc.

bellends behind me were telling us to sit down throughout :@

Didnt let them spoil my day, superb stuff, had no voice left :D

No, I screamed my head off from around 4 in the morning right until well after the match ended, far from the 1st time I've sang an Everton song in public though

Ive always sang . Not Hi-Ho , etc , did yday though . The thing for me was the Everton song . We're Forever Everton . The one after the match was the single greatest football song Ive ever heard in a Stadium , and Ive seen quite a few . As Marley said , " Tears in my eyes girl , Tears in my eyes girl , ... " Telling ya .

Im not being Victorian Dad , and I did stand for a bit meself near the end , but a lad by me had 3 young kids , and 4 pie-arses were stood in front of them all day . Thats just selfish , boorish behaviour for me . No class . Sorry , but I had to tell the truth . KJ was on about something similar on another thread .

I was sitting by three old men who where all singing, every five minutes he was shouting "come on the Blues". I'm sure I've seen him at Goodison.

I'll always sing if someone else does, can't say I'm one for starting things off though, not my style.

Disgusting that.

I 100% agree about kids mind and it's ignorant and bad behaviour. I had no kids around me though but i guess it was just something i had to accept.
