lescott looks hoplessly over priced at 24 million at the moment.

Never worth 24 mill - 15 million at the most in an inflated transfer system.

And in response to young Azul...that 4/5 spot is way still up for grabs and somehow (don't know how) we're still in with a shout. Even though we're well poo

just been saying on talksport, who they think is in the mix for 4th

r/s
villa
citeh
spuds
sunderland

we didnt even get a mention.

What a load of rubbish. Strike Sunderland and Villa off that list, because neither of them are even close to being good enough to break the top 4. It's all well and good picking up some points and scoring some goals in the early part of the season, but neither have the squad depth to maintain a serious CL challenge. Villa are probably weaker than they were this time last season, and they burnt out then, while Sunderland look ok for 7/8th but nothing higher. TalkSPORT really is a load of [Poor language removed].

Talksport talkshite more like......................as for Colloymore does he still do the car park gatherings?

I thought he talked a lot of sense on the Five coverage of the Benfica game. Better than that bad belter Dalglish ESPN had for the away leg anyway.

There's many things wrong with City (for one, I'm not convinced Hughes has the smarts to do the job required), but if they win their game in hand they're in a CL spot a with a third of the season already gone.

I dont see an obvious leader in their team. That would concern me if I were a City fan. They have a tough player in De Jong and Barry leads by example, but I dont see a player who would dig in and inspire when the chips are down. Very much a work in progress.

You know, in retrospect I think the whole Lescott thing became a face-saving exercise for Hughes. He tells his wealthy new boss that they need to sign this amazing defender to ensure a top 4 finish, so when Moyes tells him to take a hike, he can either go back and say "we don't need him after all" or build him up to a point where the ownder will up the ante. Guess he made the wrong choice (y)

LOLZ

I never used to mind him. Yeah he's been a bit of a bell in the past, but did some decent work helping with depression awareness, but he's just so annoying. I had to stop following him on ze twits because he's one of them who like commentates on games as they are on. It's soooo annoying.
