Coleman

Coleman is a decent right mid, I think he will keep improving for another season or two as he learns proper positioning and stuff.

I would like him to be the answer to our right back problems but he does like getting forward alot, which is awkward because so does Baines.

Oh my! Is that you David?? Bet that's what keeps Pep Guardiola up at nights - Alves and Abidal.

Ahah ok ok, maybe we can be acustomed to it, but we need our right mid to cover him alot - like Pienaar did with Baines.

I guess Landon would do this, hopefully Moyes gives it a go

Every time Coleman has played right back we've looked so dangerous going forward e.g when he came on against Spurs and Villa. I think at the moment teams are marking Baines out of the game as they know he is our main threat. Having Coleman bombing down the right would give the opposition even more to worry about and may even free up Baines down the left. We are too negative and one dimensional, it would be nice for the opposition to worry about us for a change instead of the other way round. We should at least try this for a couple of months imo. COYB.

Not sure I would consider that awkward - if anything that will help balance the team. as long as the CB's and CM's are moving well and covering the FB's & each other when needed to hold the shape, I'd be all for it.

can coleman cross??
would love to see him at rb though then whoever is sitting in front of the back 4 can slot into the rb/lb slot when they go forward ala makelele

If we are going to pursue the route of two deep lying midfileders then both full backs have to get forward, Moyes did talk about Coleman being a right back this season, but that would mean dropping two very firm favourites, so to see Coleman there we will probably need Nev to move on and Hibbo to get injured/rested.

I thought he was still injured? No? I'm a bit behind on reading threads... :(

Still is I think, we've rushed him back twice and he's pulled up within the same game so i'd like to see us take our time with Seamus...he's a great option to have currently.
