When Donovan returns and if we are able to see him in the same side as Drenthe.....

Will Moyes finally switch Coleman to right back ?

There was a quote from Moyes in the summer saying he sees Coleman as a right back......

This really is the best opportunity to start Coleman's switch to the backline. Before it would have been justified to keep Hibbert at RB because we have no other options at RM, but now that we do...

Coleman should and I imagine will get some game time at RB. As said.. In the summer by moyes he sees him as a RB. Would have to be Donovan in front of him though not drenthe! I would also say certain games only. Wouldn't want him there against utd and city ect. Well not this season anyway.

can't see moyes putting coleman right back at this stage of the season, if we was going to play him
there he would have done it bye now.

don't think we will ever see seamus at right back what is he 3 seasons here and still didn't get a run there
won't happen either he will play right winger or go off the scene or will be sold .

The sad thing is, because moyes likes the two holding midfielders (rodwell and fellaini) it is perfect for two attacking wing backs. plenty of cover. he only plays one so we end up light up front with no width when attacking. if he tweaked his team a little and played the ball on the floor with a good tempo he could completley change our season. problem is i don't think he can see it.

I think we have to go with Coleman at RB, he's not the best defender and the odds are we'll leak one or two without Hibbert's defensive abilities but going forward, I believe we'd be a different proposition. If possible, I'd give anything to see Pienaar back and Drenthe on the right with LD behind Saha. Going forward we'd terrorise teams with weak full backs.

I'd give Coleman a rest if we can, he's not been the same this season and struggled towards the end of last season so using him as a impact sub might benefit him and us more.
