Coleman for Adam!

Since when have we become that desperate that we want to swap our best players for the flavours of the month. Really this is mental.

Times are bad but this is ridiculous!! Adams is good but not that good. Finally we need to add to our squad not swap or let players of worth go.

I'd say that Coleman has a brighter future than Adam does. People forget that Adam has already flopped at a higher level, even though that level is not a great leap from where he's playing now.

The fear i have if we were to move for Adam (not that I think we will) is that we'd simply stick him on the left wing, like he was played at Rangers, where he is hopelessly ineffective.

I like Adam, but I love Coleman and am excited to see how he progresses. Coleman may be raw but if he can sort out the logistical side of his game and just do simple things like look up more than we have a genuine player on our hands. Adam would simply become a Ossie style squad member IMO. His reputation is built upon a short spell of form, Sidwell and Reo Cocker had similar spells. A note of caution should be taken I think

I think you could get Adam for £7-8m, Holloway is just trying to get the best price for him by talking him up. There is no way any club will spend £12-14m on him.
Im gutted that we havent got the dough because he is just what we need.

Very true. There was a whole heap of wank spouted about those two and now look. I still think Adam's decent though, indeed he can look excellent. But he wouldn't get in our side if by some miracle everyone is fit and on form. I suspect that's probably not the point though, strength in depth and all that...
