Both back saturday, only one out of the two,or neither?Whats everyone think?Would be a massive boost to have at least one of them back IMHO

[/thread]Coleman did his hamstring against Wolfsburg on Sept 18th so provided it was just a grade 1 think he'd be back training this week. He was included in the Ireland squad but didn't travel so assume that he was considered close to a recovery for Germany match even if he didn't make it.
McCarthy was injured in the derby on 27th Sept and didn't make the Ireland squad although Martinez's last update was that he didn't expect him out long.
Don't think we'll see either start for Villa although Coleman at least could make the bench.
Bobby liarRemember when Martinez said Coleman would be in contention for the weekend's game 3 days after Wolfsburg?
Such wonderful banter.
His injury updates are about as useful as a chocolate teapot and trying to make predictions based on them is a bit of a mug's game.Remember when Martinez said Coleman would be in contention for the weekend's game 3 days after Wolfsburg?

Doubt we'll see Barkley until Swansea at best unfortunately.I'm going to put a tenner on Coleman, McCarthy and Barkley to all score against Villa, and buy GOT a drink in the Wilmslow after the game.
Coleman being back is crucial, we can deal without McCarthy for now but him being as well would be a great boost.
Dream breaker.Doubt we'll see Barkley until Swansea at best unfortunately.

Wanted to save you money so you could put it on Hibbo scoring insteadDream breaker.
I agree but out of the two at the minute i feel we can deal without McCarthy better than we can without ColemanI dont think we can deal with being without anyone especially not James McCarthy.
sorry to pounce but we have suffered too long from what has always been too small a squad to deal with injuries.
We cant deal with losing anyone full stop
