I found These comments by Jags intresting today, gives an insight into Moyes's transfer dealings and other clubs wanting to look at players we are intrested in, im looking at you Keegan!:

"I wouldn't say it's a worry," Jagielka told Sky Sports News. "There's plenty of time yet before the season starts.

"If it comes to 10th August and we've only got five or six first-teamers ready to play then we might be worried," he joked.

"We know the gaffer and his coaching staff are trying to get people in. I think it's been quite slow for the majority of the clubs but it's started to pick up over the last couple of weeks.

"We're trying to get people off the treatment table as well, people who are three to four weeks away. They'll make a big impact when they come back.

"Hopefully the gaffer will get his first one in. Once the first one comes in I'm sure others will follow.

"I think if you listen to all the people who we're supposed to get we'll have a 44-man squad so it's quite hard obviously.

"The gaffer wants to keep hush-hush who he wants to bring in as that'll alert other Premier League teams to their capabilities."

Its a done deal, or a red herring? He didnt say anything about Wyness being a mouth!

Really i was pointing it out, as these are the Yobo, Arteta, Pienaar type signings that i think nobaody else has identified as being gems, theyl probably sign and wel all rush of to Wiki or YouTube.

I like us being Hush about transfers, the fans may get angry, but it is better, stops clubs like newcastle copying our transfers!!

Agreed mate, its about having faith some are easy to pull the trigger on the frustration, to be fair though this summer has been frustrating on many fornts with the stadium, new palyers and potentialy a high profile player potentialy leaving, driving up the usual ummer anghst.

We really are in limbo on many issues but i have faith!

Clearly Moyesy is au fait with Il Prinicipe. Maybe Keith Should add it to his list.

agree completely, but i wouldn't mind us making some more bluffs like the ones i'd like to think we made with barton and alan smith.

The club dropped the Joao Moutinho from Sporting story to keep everyone off the true target, but also keeping them close at the same time...

Lucho Gonzalez from FC Porto where he's lost motivation after winning the league 3 years in a row (particularly easily last season) and is after a fresh challenge in a better quality league.

Watch this space.

Id prefer moutinho over gonzalez though...i also think Joaquin may be a factor soon...

Seriously?...

Lucho's a proper hard-working midfield enforcer type, at 6'1" brings some needed height to compensate for our midget gems and has over 40 caps for Argentina.

Moutinho can operate further back, but is more suited to playing as more of a roving playmaker.

Personally, I wouldn't be complaining about either, but just think that Moutinho's too similar to the midfielders we already have (or particularly Fernandes if he's coming back) to warrant spending that amount of cash on when it really is a replacement for Carsley that we're in need of.

No kidding.

Newcastle will have to get a whole new transfer operation plan now that they don't know what we're doing.
