Clint Dempsey's last game for Fulham?

He's a great player. Would be good to have him in the Everton squad.

But as others have pointed out, we need a striker and a winger more than another person who excels in the hole (stop sniggering). And then there's the excessive fee for someone of his age - let's face it, even if we can muster a fee of 5m plus for anyone this summer, they'll probably be under 26 to make sure the resell value is substantial.

Oh yeah and he scored 12 goals in the league this season. from midfield. This is the same as Charlie Adam (I bet he didn't give the ball away as much as Adam) Only malouda and van der vaart scored more.

He's a quality player. Frankly it baffles me how anyone could say any different. If he was called José Rapido Pantalones; everyone would be jizzing in their pants.

FFS Can't we just sell rodwell for 30mill and buy Gago for 6mill?

I would fap myself into an early grave.

personally, I think he would be a decent signing as he can play on the wing or up front. He has looked decent when I have seen him play

I agree with the previous folks who say he's not a fit for us. I love Deuce, but he has a tendency to play warrior ball soccer - fling himself around everywhere, generate a broken nose, and yet still manage to score from a shot that looked like it had no chance of happening.

He's a poacher and a warrior. If Anichebe actually stayed on his feet more he'd resemble Clint more. We need someone that has more technical skills imo (not that Deuce doesn't have any, but it's not his style of soccer - it's the difference between him and LD).

Sounds like a healthy Cahill. We could use one of those.
