Clairvoyance

Spiritual medium has just moved into the office. Was undecided about the whole shebang until her- who has convinced me that it is a load of billy. Can sort of understand how one might be able to feel the presence of someone who they've loved and lost- but no need to have some swindler point you in the right direction.

Complete and utter bullocks.

That said when my Father in Law lost his wife he was absolutely distraught. In a real depression and we struggled to get him out of it. After a few weeks he wanted to go see a clairvoyant and wanted to someone to go along with him. Nobody was keen and feeling sorry for the old guy i said i would go along. It turned out to be a spiritualist church he had agreed to go too and they had a different clairvoyant each week. The first couple of weeks they didn't come to my Father-in-law but on the third week they honed straight in on us. 10 minutes later and all the usual very broad rubbish that you usually hear they left us alone. At the end of the night i was about to pour scorn on what a load of old crud it was but my Father in Law was convinced that his wife had come through. So much so that the depression he was in completely lifted. It was almost as if someone had turned the depression 'tap' off. The difference really was amazing and it was what he needed to help him find some comfort and peace.

Now as much as i think its rubbish and the people who practice it are lower than low, it did make me think that if it is bringing some people relief and comfort in their darkest of days then maybe it's not a complete waste of time.

The origins of the name clairevoyant ...

I was having some man time a few years ago , unbeknown to me my neighbour Claire had drilled a peephole in the wall between us, apparently she was a well known voyeur.

Anyway, she saw me coming.

Hence

Clairvoyant

Get me in touch with these spirits

a mate of mine is really into it, has been on the radio a few times, knows agora and all the local crowd, says they are a con, he dosnt charge when he gives a reading its just his believe system, his way of trying to help, over the years he has come out with some really weird stuff that has come true, i brought an ex to see him and he told her she had a dead sister wearing a yellow ribbon in her hair, she knew nothing of, thought what a load of bull, her mother asked how it had gone, and told her what he had said, to her utter horror ,her mum said she did indeed have a sister that had died after a few months, before my ex was born, pulled a photo out with a baby with a yellow ribbon in its hair it freaked her out, but for every one like that there are 90 that are wide of the mark or can be read in all sorts of diffrent ways , not into it myself, and the last few years he is starting to question some of it himself.
