City used as a vehicle for corrupt murderous Regime

The feller who wrote that, David Conn, brought out a book recently about City's takeover by that Abu Dhabi lot. He basically described the new regime there as fantastic stewards of Man City. A lot of eyebrows were raised at the time because Conn has the reputation of opposing the commercialisation of the game. It looked like he'd been bought out for a big fat fee.

He looks to be trying to win back some credibility with that piece.

He's a city fan though innit. Probs just a bit of a bias raring it's head.
 
Nothing that lot say bother me pal its all one way with them lots of corruption back in the day and nowadays. However I think most of the kids in the schools he sold the meat too were berties. Delayed food poisoning manifests itself 30 years later see below
