Think you might have missed a pretty important 'l' from "suckling" there Tim.
Well, I hope you have!

Cascais is a lovely place and in my experience, busier than Estoril.
Should be cheaper than Nerja.
I love Portugal, especially Lisbon, which is a great city.
You can catch the train into Lisbon from both Cascais and Estoril (or "Shtooreel" as the locals call it).
The journey along the coast is lovely.
Enjoy!

Limelight and the Spaniard - cracking cocktails in the Spaniard.

Yard & Coop is nice too.

There is always something on in the Limelight, Spaniard is small but always lively. There are plenty of lively places in the City centre now. Belfast is very compact so you can get about very easily.
Try The Perch, again always seems lively with a good mixed crowd. There are also good restaurants if you fancy that sort of thing.

A mate of mine lived there for a few years so I visited a few times, mainly to see a few gigs at the Belsonic.

Great city Belfast.

I'd highly recommended San Sebastian although it can be hard to get flights to it. It helps if you like tapas a lot. Beautiful old port town with narrow streets filled with good bars and eateries everywhere. Can even take in a R.Sociedad match if you get the timing right.

Actually like the sound of San Sebastián, will have a look at this now

You can get a bus from Biarritz airport if you can't get direct flights to San Sebastian. Only about an hour I think. It's a cracking city.

You can fly into Bilbao and San Sebastián is easy enough to get to from there. Incredible scenery round there.

Been thinking for a while of doing a little tour: Bilbao > San Sebastian > Biarritz and maybe Bordeaux or somewhere. I'm sure someone told me the former were great to visit around Christmas...

Donkeys years ago, I was out walking up the Lakes on a baking hot day and two young couples walked towards us near Stickle Tarn in the Langdales. Both lasses had their norks out.

It had never happened before, and it's never happened again, but I live in hope.

That is the dream....

Numerous cities in Switzerland are also very pretty, but very expensive also.

Found the most amazing public toilets in a service station in Switzerland once. Was a Euro to use them, but well worth it! :o

if you look directly at the tower, head left about 200 yards. on the right of that street there is an allyway with a red door frame - it's at the bottom of there...

Best beer I've ever had in my life - we had originally been given directions by an American fella sat outside Bar Delirum in Brussels.

I've sent multiple people there since.

Reminds me of that scene in Beerfest...

Cascaus if I've spelt it right next door to estorl walk between both is ace.. get stake on the stone and try sucking pig

Cascais is ace. Was in Lisbon a couple summers ago and spent a day there, one at Belem, and a couple at Sintra. Loads to see and do around there :)
