Cine & Slides to Digital

I have come across a box of cine reels and slides from my Granddad who died before I was born. I would like to get them converted into digital copies so I can investigate them further and try and piece together some more parts of my family tree.

Anybody do that? or know of where I can get it done for a reasonable price?

Have a look around mate, there are bound to be people who have the gear. I'd start at your local film development lab, or maybe a post production facility. Could be pricey but there are definately options.
