installed firefox now, seems ok at first sight but then just using this site isnt really gonna get me used to it or seem any different. seems to be displaying everything in a font that aint too easy on my meat and potato pies though.

Yes, thats something else I noticed, the fonts are awful. Just admit defeat and go back to IE. Its what ive done over and over again, you wont find 1 you like.

Hi, my name is TX Bill

"Hi TX Bill"

I used to use IE 8

(Murmurs and whispers under breath from group)

But thanks to my friends at GOT, I was able to make the switch to Firefox and have loved it ever since.

(Group stands up and applauds)

MG is scared of change. Stick with it Reidy.

IE is for the brainwashed.

Cue another badwool conspiracy theory

UP WITH IE

DOWN WITH FIREFOX

Can't stand the bloody font, and it seems slower for me:huh:

There is a little to be said for Opera...try them all out, only way to know for sure. Sounds to me more like you're suffering from bloat (well, not you personally).

There's much to be said for a clean OS install once every 8-12 months...if you can manage it.

IE gets a measly 2/10
opera gets the same
firefox gets a respectable 7/10
chrome wins it for me though with 9/10

a couple of tweeks and it would be a perfect browser

also check out google chrome backup.

makes a little file to save all your preferences, passwords and bookmarks
just in case you need to do a clean boot in future
