Done some good things and a few bad things.

I was actually willing him to get the ball though because whenever he gets it it looks like he can create something.

Is that just cos of what he's done in International football though? I thought he looked poor yesterday and has done every time he's played for us really. He put a good cross in for the goal so you could argue if he played wide left he might look better but he gives the ball away a lot in easy situations and never looks a threat.

He looks sharp, I'd probably start him in the next game, and Gibson. Need to start playing him really because this season is a write off anyway so might as well give the loan signing a chance to shine, if he does then great sign him, but if he sits on the bench and goes back without ever getting his chance we both miss out. Seems to have the right attitude too.

He's been training with the team for 6 months though, if Martinez hasn't started him before now then he probably doesn't rate him. No point starting him now unless it's for a positive reason for someone who will be with us long term or if the team really needs him.

If he got a run in the team for long enough to build up an understanding with a few players I think he'd be excellent - we've lacked pace and finesse in our attacking play all season and there's little hints that he could provide both.

I thought he did well yesterday. He certainly helped improve us. I think we may see quite a bit of him between now and the end of the season.
Let's not forget that he has missed quite a bit of the season through injury and the AFCON. before that he was settling at the club.
