I think he's played well for Ghana

Think he may get Player of the Tournament....certainly got Goal of the Tournament.
Been very impressed with him.Took some really heavy challenges too,just gets on with it.

I think having him, Mirallas, McGeady and Lennon will be great. Bobby loves to sub wingers in the second half, to let them sprint the whole time I guess. They'll all get lots of game time I suspect.

Iirc in the world cup he was on the left but on the rare game time he has got for us he's been on the right.

Ghana don't play quite so rigidly though-
he's spent spells drifting infield as well
I think a lot of his problems fitting in at EFC have to do with the discipline at sticking to the assigned role

I think the main difference is that the style of play in the Afcon suits him...it's all so slow...from what little I have seen him for Everton he just didn't look fit enough/used to the quicker tempo

The tempo has a lot to do with the conditions- they're pretty much playing in a sauna there. But ya, very different conditions to premier league. However he could most definitely slot in to the much-slower europa matches.

He'll be gutted that Ghana lost but hopefully the award will take a bit of the edge off.

So pleased he did well, he hadn't had the happiest 6 months with us.
