We have to be more ruthless, we don't have time to be mucking about with players who can't deliver, especially ones we don't even own!

Another Magaye Gueye, get rid.

Agreed, however he is clearly more talented, having watched him in the Dutch league. Problem is, like 99% of our other players, he seams to (when he played) have absolutely no confidence in his own abilities.

are we allowed to do that? am guessing we will prob still have to pay the fee...but guess gives us another loan slot...

Depends on which league we were getting the player from. You can have unlimited loans from overseas and I think two from within the Prem. Atsu is our only Prem player on loan, so would only matter if we were looking to bring two others in?

it all depends if we're actually going to use the loan spots available. if we can keep him and still do the business we wanted to, then keep him, you never know what he could do with a bit of confidence.

i was looking forward to him, thought he would be very handy but it hasn't really worked so far, he's barely had a chance though.

I love that, it makes it sounds like Chelsea are making the decision and not us, like we've somehow done bad by the kid by not playing him.

No mention at all that he's been a flop, that he hasn't impressed in the short times he has played, and Martinez sees him in training every day and hasn't fancied playing him.

If this was a loan at a club 'favoured' by the media, they'd be making out he was a flop and blaming the player, not the club.
