Isn't it funny how the media don't moan when Newcastle loaned remy last season or ferraya this season, it's simple they are worried we can replace one of their bum boy top 4 clubs out

60,000 alleged 'Sheffield United fans' have signed an online petition stating that they do not want Ched Evans back at their club.

Could any of us seriously imagine the affables doing that if it was their top scorer?

Is there an option to buy included in the deal. Anybody knows or heard something?

Not according to Martinez via O'Keefe:

1:32 pm
Greg O’Keeffe
Paul Daley: Is there an option to buy Atsu at the end of his loan? And does he expect another loan for Gerard Deulofeu?

Martinez has said today it's just for a loan RE Atsu. I'm sure he'd go for Deulofeu again if Barca were open to it.

Also:

1:42 pm
Greg O’Keeffe
Griff: what's your starting Eleven Greg?

Jeez Louise..

If all fit: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, McCarthy, Barry, Mirallas, Barkley, Atsu, Lukaku.

Yeah but it's not really what he said. He used almost identical words to what he said about Lukaku 12 months ago.

"We just want all parties to be happy with how it turns out, and for Christian to create phenomenal memories of Everton and our fans" ... and look how that turned out last time

Yeah, but we didn't have an agreed price agreed as part of loan, we just ended up buying him anyway, and for a good bit more than people were talking about...

If I were Chelsea, City or Utd, I'd be shipping good players to Everton all the time. They can't play against their owning club and it takes down the opposition......

I would be doing the opposite.

If I owned one of those clubs I would be waking up and smelling the coffee.

A strong Everton will be beating down on the door to the top four and we are therefore a threat to their hegemony.

Think I just found probably the worst opinion ever on Sky. He's entitled to it, but he's an utter, utter moron.

"I think the premier league needs to change the loan rule, at least between teams in the same division. Maybe they should only be allowed in exceptional circumstances. Everton did very well last season but 2-3 of their key players, including lukaku and barry, weren't even theirs, and that doesn't seem right or fair to me. Nothing personal against Everton but here is another potentially excellent 'free' 1-year signing to bolster what is already a good squad. Loaning out youngsters to lower league clubs is a situation that suits everyone but when a top PL team is loaning in players from other top PL teams I find it a bit of a kop out, too much of an easy option. If they don't have the money to buy players they shouldnt just be allowed to loan them in"

Chelsea would be daft to include a buy in clause after what we have just paid for lukaku, if he has a boss season they could command £10-15 mil from us or even keep him whereas if he has an okay season we could probably hold the cards and get him a little cheaper at £7-8 mil etc.

I thought it was reported on here that 8m buy clause was agreed?
