Christian Atsu

So that's two good loans in as permanent, Besic in as well. And a new loan in Atsu, let's see how that goes.

That's quite good business in my opinion.

Now we have got to have faith in Martinez. Don't freak if we lose to Leicester City.

Like that players are now saying things like 'a great club who like to
play football'. Don't remember hearing things like that before! So much has changed this year

I don't think he'll start on Saturday but there's a chance he might come off the bench for a cameo, depending on how fit he is.

Obviously won't be able to play against Chelsea either, so we could be looking at either the Arsenal game (probably another cameo off the bench), before probably September before he really gets going.

Still, exciting news. Fills the gap left by Deulofeu.

That for me rules him out of sat sadly. Very surprised he's not even played in the u21 pre season games for chelsea? Has he been injured

He played the whole of last season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, and played for Ghana in the World Cup. He's above playing for an U-21s team now, he's better than that.

Even if there wasn't, I'm pretty sure there wasn't one for Rom either..

Yep.

Players and their agents rule the roost now. If Atsu wants to join us bad enough, he'll kick up a stink bad enough.

We've been on the receiving end of this and it's not nice - but it's good to start benefiting from it too.

Not for chelsea he's not the size of their team. Shame he hasn't featured in either because he needs match fitness quick

He played in the World Cup, his pre-season has been disrupted like all our World Cup players were.

He was clearly on his way out of Chelsea so they kept him away from their teams, that's the way Mourinho works, he ostracizes players.
