Well as we know Everton are the type of team that sign a defender when we need a forward,sign a midfielder if we wanted a keeper,just sign anyone but not for the Position needed really,when we actually sign or signed anyone that was.

Gone to Bolton with Tyrone Mears for £3 mil. Certainly cheaper than N'Zogbia, and it's a shame to see him go. Good deal for Bolton, in my opinion.

Mears wouldn't be much use and our goalkeeping situation isn't dire by any means, but I wouldn't mind having a fresh winger on the squad, and Eagles was a financially feasible option.

Could have been a very good signing given our budget, as someone said in another thread squad depth is vitaly important given our usual raft of injuries.
