Allardyce Out
This is from Sky Sports, saying us and the Kopites are interested.

Got to say, I highly rate this lad and would love him at Everton. Unbelievably underrated. Best left foot in the league for me, including Baines. He's just at an unfashionable club which has seen him slip under the radar, but I rate him as one of the top three left wingers in the Premier League.

Putting the rather obvious problem of money, aside. He's actually a very good winger, hell of a left peg on him too, would have him here in a shot, i was right behind his free-kick at Goodison, top goal.

He's got more than that if you watch him as well. Top work rate, fantastic delivery and moves well into space. Lacks the blistering pace to make him truly top drawer but he can put a ball on a pinhead in a split second and cross from deep so he doesn't need it really - especially as at us he'd have Baines bombing on ahead of him for options.

I'd be devastated if Liverpool got him as they'd finally have a very good wide left midfielder.

He'd be good but can't see that happening. If he's happy at w.brom then he'd cost a fair bit.

Bear in mind that he didn't play a great deal of games on the left hand side for West Brom last season. More usually as one of three in the middle. They tended to use Jerome Thomas and his right foot to cut in from that side.

All told he's a very good player, and if I remember correctly we were heavily linked with him when he left Sheffield Weds for the Hawthorns.
