Chinese food

Do you reckon Chinese families sit at home on a Saturday evening and order an Indian takeaway or a kfc .. a kebab or a burger even ?

I'd put chow mein and chop suey into the watery gravy profile every time. Maybe it's just the way it's done in North Wiltshire. Agree, Satay stands alone- could be a third profile.

This is your problem, mate - I found that chippies down south are dreadful in comparison to anything in the north. The gravy thing is baffling down there, when I first moved to Hampshire in 2002, the chippy there didn't even do it! Then when they did it was like piss, you should be able to put wallpaper up with it its that thick.

This is the only trouble with Chinese food threads, you finish one and eight years later you want another 🤷‍♂️

Also of note, if you get a lamb dish from the curry house, never reheat it in the microwave, lamb reacts badly to that thing. Put a little oil and then a small knob of butter in a pan and rewarm your dish through on the hob. You don't have to bring it to the boil, just heat it through.
