Why drop Garner? He was fantastic yesterday, putting in six tackles. I would have him in for Doucoure.

Otherwise, I agree with your selections.
I want McNeil to start playing. I drop Garner cos I want more strength in CM. If Doc is dropped and McNeil plays in front of Garner and Gana, the CM is too light. Also, Garner does not score nor create enough. We must buy a starting CM to play alongside with Gana next season.

Can we um, like, win for a change? Go 4-4-2, can't possibly be relegated now.

Seeing '26th November 1994' in 4:3 ratio with a blurred background on TNT is going to make my blood boil. Just utterly small time. I mean that was Royle's SECOND game in charge. I was in Year 1. Year sodding one!!!! I'd only just discovered the difference between arse, elbow and willy.

I'm also still raging about that extra 90s Chelsea were gifted in 2016 when we were 3-2 up at theirs. The ref legit told JT he had "another minute and a bit" after he asked. Scummy man from bad stock and a joke of an England captain. Martinez wasn't blameless though, as ever.

How is Doucoure stronger than Garner in central midfield? He may score a few more than Garner, yet Garner is more comfortable in possession and put in a fantastic performance against Man City. Although I agree with you on McNeil playing, I just don't think we should drop Garner to accommodate McNeil when Doucoure has been worse (Notts Forest game aside).

A mile offside that equaliser too.

I don’t think we have the personnel for a 4-4-2. A frontline of Beto and Chermiti? Not for me.

With Armando Broja not being available for this one our forward options will be a bit limited. Still think we'll come away with something.

I am still annoyed about that equaliser whenever it is bought up. I seem to recall another 3-3 game that season against Bournemouth, in which there was a similar scenario involving Junior Stanislas.

A win at Stamford Bridge is long overdue. Another draw would not go amiss, but getting that win could be a springboard for us to finish top of the 'mini league' we find ourselves in alongside Man Utd, Tottenham, Wolves and West Ham.

Why do people want us to get beat against Chelsea by starting Patterson?

Personally I'd just stick Garner there. He did fine v Newcastle and would trust he'd do a disciplined job v Sancho.

Got enough CMs to move Garner back, Tim is also overdue a start and would need his mobility against Chelsea's quality.

Watching them today, Palmer is totally shot fitness wise so their only threat is from out wide. Gusto also went off with hamstring injury at the end.

Good suggestion that. He played really well for England U21's when they won the Euro's.

Has a decent cross and reads the game well. Doesn't look lost at sea like when Patterson plays.

Wow mid 90s. Go on about the horrendous record at the swamp but that is something else. Thought there was one win around 2010 but confusing it with the cup victory down there on penalties in 2010/11.

Moyes will be happy with a point and will set up for it, Beto will also return as Broja can't play obviously so think time is right in the season now for 4/5 changes to the regular line up of last few months.

Get a draw here and then 7 points from Ipswich, Fulham and Southampton and that is a strong end of season to finish above at least two of West Ham, Man. United and Spurs.
