I was gonna say. Other teams being quicker to the ball is nothing new this season. The only question is how much is a pre conceived tactical idea and how much is down to our inadequate players.

Severe lack of pace in the midfield is a main cause for me. No shock that when Doucoure plays, even though hes average technically hes got that pace to get around and link, win the ball, fight.

Combine that lack of pace with iwobi, siggurddsson, gomes, holgate's passing ability then it becomes a major problem. Only James has a real class about him on the ball and even then hes an attacker/winger not a midfielder.

A real quality midfielder on the ball with a bit of pace would make the world of difference, like Fernandes type.

I'd hope without so many injuries we'd have a bit more about us.
