Just seen this now.... whatever about possession, shots and passes but how can they have made more tackles than us??? Surely the team being dominated need to make more tackles by default?

That's really worrying
Think most of those were made by Cahill on Lukaku.

I'm actually not that surprised by those stats. One of the most impressive elements of their performance yesterday was how well they pressed the ball, as compared to us who never seemed to get near the man in possession.

I passed over this a few times no one was even close to a MOTM performance. Then I began to ponder a bit. Finally, Tom Davies was given a chance and he did the most he could with it notwithstanding. Koeman needs to buck and give him a start against Swansea. This team looked tired and had no structure. Hard week in practice I hope.
Half of them won't be there mate. International duty.

Said it after the game yesterday and still think we just got outplayed by a very good team yesterday who all performed on the day ... We didn't turn up .. Some of the passing and movement especially from hazard was the best I have seen in a long time ... We need to dust ourselves down and hopefully learn from this.. No point blaming individuals about it either. Nobody performed simple as that .. The transfer window is not far away and I think young Tom Davies needs to be given a chance on a regular basis ... Swansea will be much better.. I hope !

What?. Swansea will be better than Chelsea?. Better get my pills ready.

Who would have wanted RK after Southampton lost 1-6 to the RS? It happens, get over it. Who really expected anything out of the game once Gana got his 5th yellow against West Ham? It was the perfect storm. We were weakened against a team who are taking the Premier League by the scruff of the neck since Conte found the best system. Take a look at the quality of their players versus ours and then imagine what happens when they all play to their potential and we don't.

Ron will not want this happen again so will be having a word with Mosh come January.

i think the motm for this game was the ref for blowing the whistle and putting an end to that woeful travesty. Oh if being serious Davies then.
