Remember it cost them £16.5m to buy him, he's vastly improved since then, more then £5.5m improved anyways.
 
Was under the impression Benayoun was the saviour of Stamford Bridge. How 10 months changes things. Joe Cole was once considered a fine player as well.

It's sad that Arteta should be at his peak now. Yet he blatantly isn't.

Chelsea now bid £27m for Modric.

Spurs would have to be mental to turn that down.

However, it just gives Spurs more money to pull yet further away from us.

They have money available even without selling him. They won't find a replacement for Modric and they've just lost Sandro for 3 months because of an injury. They should keep him... no matter what.

Why? Chelsea have unlimited funds and the transfer window has a month + to go and who knows if City (who may need a player like him) would ever jump in too. The way the market is going I think you could get 35 for him.
