People forget that it was a random tweak that Moyes stumbled on for Cahill.

KDH operates best in the matches played against Scandinavian teams in the third tier of European competition. I’m not saying never play him but he’s not our best 10 or our best option deeper in midfield.

The problem is Moyes has spent a lot of money and not really improved the side! Ndiaye is just as effective as Grealish on the left hand side. Barry is not an improvement on Beto, neither is KDH on Alcaraz and right now Dibling isn’t an upgrade on Lindstrom. We should have bought 2 good full backs, plus a pacy right winger. We should also have invested in another no 6. That would’ve improved the first team. But Moyes has effectively spent £100 million and not achieved much. It’s an impressive feat.

Generally I play with a sausage roll so would rather Charley a bit further up

Beto loves playing with Alcaraz cos he knows he will always try to play through balls to him, which is what Beto needs.

Praise for Moyes for being more ruthless and giving charlie a whole half to show what he can do. Can guarantee that had kdh been playing, and if we were still stinking the gaff out, moyes would still have persisted until 85'th minute.
Charlie is more direct and physical through the middle than any other player we have. He draws defenders centrally to deal with him, freeing up more space and time for the wingers...simples

Great seeing him getting a nark on when he played the ball to someone and then he continued his run only to see them play it back or sideways.

That was down the right side, laid it off to ndiaye and continued his run, only for ndiaye to surprisingly play the ball backwards instead of chipping it over for charlie to run on to.
