2025/26 Charly Alcaraz

The problem is we have 6 players for 5 positions there. Grealish, Alcaraz, Garner, Dewsbury Hall, Ndiaye and Gueye (By that I mean if you are playing Alcaraz you probably have to move KDH back which means you lose Garner or Gueye). So no matter who is left out someone will moan about it.

That's before even thinking about McNeil and Dibling (and Tim Iroegbunam suppose who was great today).

Nice problems to have for once.
The problem is Moyes has spent a lot of money and not really improved the side! Ndiaye is just as effective as Grealish on the left hand side. Barry is not an improvement on Beto, neither is KDH on Alcaraz and right now Dibling isn’t an upgrade on Lindstrom. We should have bought 2 good full backs, plus a pacy right winger. We should also have invested in another no 6. That would’ve improved the first team. But Moyes has effectively spent £100 million and not achieved much. It’s an impressive feat.

We’ve definitely improved the squad. Look at the options from the bench. McNeil not getting a sniff not a single minute. That says a lot.

Dibbling is a young lad and needs to be eased in.

I'd say the squad has improved significantly that Dibling can be eased in with limited pressure on his shoulders.

If he'd come in previous summers all the expectation would've been on him to lift the club up the table and would've been too much based on his early outings.

Also a good point on McNeill. Barely played despite being fit for months yet a key player just 12 months ago.

In Everton’s situation the aim should be to improve the first choice 11. If you do that the squad automatically improves. You spend £100 million and don’t really improve the first 11 but improve the squad it’s a massive failure imho.

But the first 11 is massively improved. That’s why Alcaraz and McNeil haven’t been getting any minutes.

KDH and Grealish improve the starting 11 massively.

Pure satire. Fair play.

McNeill wasn’t in Moyes first choice 11 last year. KDH isn’t an improvement on Alcaraz in my opinion and Ndiaye is at least as good as Grealish on the left.

No one’s going to convince me that KDH is an upgrade on this guy. Has also got a good understanding with Beto. They both need to start consistently.

Kdh is not a 10 and would say has been an improvement in the team links very well. The problem is we have had no other runner in the mid to help join the cf. is why i feel could play both some games with kdh deeper. Ndiaye is a good player but not on the level of grealish,
