Its good to see we can now debate over 2 very good players at our club.Said before that I'd rather have KDH as a left sided number 8 in a 433, he has a natural bias towards the left channel anyway.
He isn't a natural number 10, but I maintain that apart from games where we are going to be under the cosh and where counter attacks are going to be the main source of any realistic chances where Alcaraz's attributes are useful, I'd still rather have KDH there.
Think you're being v disingenuous to say that KDH doesn't play penetrative passes. He probably doesn't try stuff as speculative as Alcaraz, but he's more effective with it. And by looking after the ball, I mean literally being able to shield it while in possession, it's a skill Alcaraz is remarkably poor at.
But again, to reiterate, Alcaraz was brilliant yesterday. His energy and drive were exactly what we needed in that situation and there will be plenty of games where that's the case.
